| Description: | PLP Publishings(UK) is a small business producing and selling books written by Dr Audrey Coatesworth to individuals throughout the UK and beyond. The business, which can be found in Buckingham, was established in 2007, its purpose being to publish and sell Dr Coatesworth's varied books. She writes from her many years of experience and expertise as a psychiatrist, using skills gained in that field. The books on sale at present were written on behalf of and for the future welfare of children. The business has a 'shop window' on the internet and provides individuals with a rapid postal delivery service. Customers get the best prices for these 'direct from publisher' books. Dr Coatesworth's books are high quality productions but, due to direct selling, are cheap in price giving extreme value for money. At present, there are three poetry books available. Though the poems are written primarily for children (7-13yrs)and teenagers, the books can be enjoyed by the whole family. At this early stage, the book range includes 'Growing Up', 'Coping with Illness and Grief' and 'Choice for Teenagers'. A novel 'Beyond Mercy' is due to be released in the next few months, but this is not for children. The books are available on the website. PLP Publishings has sold these books to parents, teachers and grandparents as well as to children themselves in many areas of the country. All have been received with enthusiasm, enjoyment and praise. The poems are intended to be read but also 'heard' by children. 'Growing Up' is suitable for all primary schools and 'Choice for Teenagers' for secondary schools. 'Coping with Illness and Grief' is suitable for all schools, for children's wards and hospices. The business is being managed in its inital stages by Audrey Coatesworth and her accountant, and with advice from a retired business lawyer. Eventually the business will become a limited company. As the number of books available and the volume of books sold both increase, the staff body is likely to expand, until PLP Publishings has a highly efficient work team.
